Born in 1965, Lia Shalvashvili is an author of children’s literature and educational books in Georgia. She graduated from Tbilisi Pedagogical University. She also studied journalism and the methodology of education. Lia Shalvashvili got her PhD in 1997. She taught at school and delivered lectures at the University. She has published over 70 scientific methodological works. She is a Laureate of Jacob Gogebashvili award. Her first book I Want to Know Everything was published in 1997. Since that time, she has published over 25 books. Some of them have been published in English. Lia Shalvashvili is the author of the school manual in Natural Science, current in Georgia.
