Born in 1973 in Tbilisi, Irma Beridze graduated from I. Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University with a specialty in philosophy and journalism. She worked in various sociological research centers (Gorbi, Logos, IPM) and for the Ministry of Culture and Monument Protection of Georgia. She was selected as finalist in the literary and art competition 'Tbilisi 2017' for the Best Poetry of the Year. She has been published in various literary magazines ('Literary Palette', 'Dawn' ('Tsiskari'), 'New Treasure' (Akhali Saunje), 'Arili'). Her poems have been translated into the English language and published in the literary anthology "Modern Georgia: Poetry and Prose.
She is the author of the project 'Future Writer' and the project 'Literary Competition for the Students Living in Mountainous Regions of Georgia 2013-2014' (The Ministry of Culture and Monument Protection of Georgia) carried out in high-mountainous regions of Georgia.
